About the Role
Trek Trailers / Agrimark is seeking an experienced and driven Service & Parts Manager to lead our service workshop and parts department at our Bury St Edmunds site. This is a key management position, responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving departmental performance and profitability.
You will play a vital role in managing people, processes, and customer relationships while helping to develop and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the service workshop and parts department
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and parts staff
- Deliver high standards of customer service and act as a main point of contact for customers
- Plan, schedule, and manage workshop workloads to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Manage parts ordering, inventory control, stock levels, and supplier relationships
- Prepare estimates, job cards, invoicing, and warranty claims
- Drive service and parts sales to achieve performance and OTE targets
- Monitor KPIs, departmental performance, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a service and/or parts management role
- Background in agricultural, trailer, automotive, or plant machinery industries preferred
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Confident IT skills and experience using workshop or parts management systems
- Commercial awareness and the ability to drive results
