Job Overview
McKinstry Group has recently invested in a cutting-edge recycling facility at their headquarters in Nutts Corner. This milestone development represents the largest and most advanced facility of its kind in the UK and Ireland.
As the recycling operatives at the new MRF, you will be responsible for the quality checking, actively sorting, handling, and managing recyclable materials, ensuring smooth and safe operations across our facilities.
Duties
- Sorting and handling recyclable material: The operator will pick selected materials from a moving conveyor belt and place them in the correct chute for further processing.
- General duties: This includes general housekeeping of machines and areas within the facility, ensuring quality and recovery rates are maximised and follow site safety rules.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to PPE standards, follow the correct pedestrian procedures and ensure all H&S is followed correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the recycling area to promote safety and efficiency.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
