About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Education Recruiter to join our growing team on a fully remote basis. This role will focus on recruiting and placing SEN Tutors for one-to-one alternative provision programmes across the UK.
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates through to onboarding and placement. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong candidate management skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to build relationships with high-quality education professionals.
The majority of vacancies will involve supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Autism, SEMH needs, EBSA, ADHD, and other complex learning profiles who require tuition outside of mainstream school settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for SEN Tutor vacancies nationwide
- Source, screen, interview, and shortlist suitable candidates
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of tutors across a range of subjects and specialisms
- Advertise vacancies across job boards and recruitment platforms
- Conduct candidate interviews and assess suitability for Alternative Provision roles
- Liaise with tutors throughout the onboarding process
- Work closely with the wider team to understand vacancy requirements and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM and recruitment systems
- Work towards agreed recruitment and placement targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing candidates
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or talent acquisition
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Strong attention to detail and candidate assessment skills
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience within Education Recruitment
- Experience recruiting for SEN, Alternative Provision, tutoring, or teaching roles
- Understanding of EHCPs, SEND, and Alternative Provision environments
- Experience working within a target-driven recruitment environment
