The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, picking and dispatch of materials to support production and customer requirements. This role drives inventory accuracy, team performance, continuous improvement, and safe, efficient material flow across the business.

Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the warehouse, ensuring materials are received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently.
- Ensure production receives components on time to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate workloads and priorities with Planning, Purchasing and Production.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the ERP/MRP system.
- Oversee customer and subcontractor dispatches, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Develop and monitor warehouse KPIs to support business objectives.
- Manage goods receipt, stock location optimisation, cycle counts and annual stocktakes.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, driving continuous improvements in inventory accuracy
- Liaise with Purchasing regarding deliveries, shortages and discrepancies.
- Coordinate the movement of materials to and from suppliers.
- Ensure supplier documentation is completed accurately.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Allocate workloads, monitor performance and provide coaching and training.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven Warehouse Manager experience within a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, goods receipt, dispatch and materials handling.
- Experience using ERP/MRP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing warehouse KPIs and inventory accuracy.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Forklift licence/certification desirable.
40 Hour week - Monday to Friday
