Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dry Liner/Promat installer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing internal wall linings, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboard or other wall linings according to project specifications
- Secure linings using hand tools, power tools, and appropriate fasteners
- Finish joints with plaster or joint compound to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or decorating
- Assist with the preparation of surfaces, including framing, insulation, and sealing where necessary
- Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and carpentry teams to ensure seamless project progression
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dry lining or related construction trade
- CSCS CARD A MUST preferably Skilled in drylining
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., screw guns), and fabrication equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with building codes and safety standards within the construction industry
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if required
- Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are preferred
