Job Title: Slitter machine operator
Location: Desborough.
Shift: Dayshift 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Pay: £12.85 per hour.
Do you have previous experience of operating machines within a manufacturing environment ?
If so, you will be joining a well established and friendly team who are based in Desborough.
Povoas packaging are recruiting for a slitter operator who is looking to learn new skills, develop their career and to progress within a company. Experience is not essential as full, ongoing training will be given for this role.
Main duties:
- Operating the slitter machine, ensuring production quantity requirements are met and products are made to a high standard in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the slitter.
- Ensure the product is packaged and labelled in line with the job instructions.
- Health and Safety policy is followed along with other company policies.
- General housekeeping following the companies clean as you go policy and ensure BRC standards of cleanliness is always maintained around your working areas.
- Report any machinery issues to the production manager.
- May also be required to assist in another dept.
