About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and confident SHEQ Coordinator to support our site in maintaining high standards of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the shop floor, working closely with operational teams, and helping to embed strong behaviours and consistent standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular workplace inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
- Support incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and actions are completed.
- Maintain and update risk assessments, SOPs, COSHH assessments, and other SHEQ documentation.
- Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and targeted training to improve awareness and engagement.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and support investigations into non-conformances.
- Assist with environmental monitoring, waste management, and compliance with site permits.
- Track actions from audits, incidents, and inspections to ensure timely closure.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance data.
- Be a visible presence on the shop floor, coaching teams and reinforcing standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment.
- Good understanding of SHEQ principles and relevant legislation.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge unsafe or non-compliant behaviours.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to spend time in operational areas.
- Ability to analyse issues, identify trends, and support improvement activities.
Desirable Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards it).
- Internal auditor qualification (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Experience in incident investigation or root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting QMS or EMS systems.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
