Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly and diligent prep chef to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves daily prepping of Dough, Meat, Veg, Sauces & Sides. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and storing deliveries, Prep of Dough, Pizzas, toppings & more, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is necessary, specific training will be provided but must be comfortable opening the shop in the mornings, working alone and following instructions as well as being forward thinking & creative. This role would suit someone looking for a new challenge within hospitality or someone looking to work short, set shifts due to a busy lifestyle outwith work.
Duties
- Keyholder
- Accepting, checking and storing deliveries when necessary.
- Prepping single or double batches of our homemade dough, including balling and storing according to guidelines.
- Prepping sauce, toppings & sides.
- Working independently to ensure a smooth transition into service
- Stock Management
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced setting
- Culinary experience within a kitchen environment
- Flexible Schedule, working short intensive shifts.

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
