We are looking for a proactive, organised and ambitious Global Event Executive to join The MarTech Summit team.
You will work within a small, highly driven team to deliver approximately 20 executive-level business summits each year across Asia Pacific and Europe. Our events take place both in person and virtually, bringing together senior marketing, technology and business leaders from global brands.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is interested in events, project management, communications and international business. Previous events experience is helpful but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Event Project Management
- Support the Event Directors in planning and delivering business summits from initial preparation through to post-event follow-up.
- Monitor project progress, follow up on outstanding actions and help ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support venue sourcing, supplier liaison, event logistics, registration, speaker management and onsite delivery.
Speaker and Attendee Outreach
- Research and identify suitable senior-level speakers, attendees and industry leaders for each summit.
- Conduct professional outreach through email, LinkedIn and other communication channels.
- Personalise invitations and follow-up messages to improve response and engagement rates.
- Track outreach activity, responses, confirmations and follow-up actions using internal databases and project management tools.
- Support speaker onboarding, including collecting biographies, headshots, session information and presentation materials.
- Keep confirmed speakers and attendees informed of event updates, deadlines and logistical arrangements.
Content and Agenda Support
- Research current trends, challenges and developments within marketing, technology, customer experience and digital transformation.
- Support the Event Directors with agenda development, topic research and session planning.
- Prepare speaker briefing documents, event agendas and internal project updates.
Event Delivery
- Support the delivery of both virtual and in-person summits.
- Assist with registration, speaker coordination, venue liaison, session management and general onsite operations.
- Be prepared to travel internationally, with potential opportunities to support events in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok and other global locations.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable conducting professional outreach and following up with senior-level contacts.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.
- Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- A collaborative team player who is comfortable working across different functions.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using or learning LinkedIn, social media platforms, design applications, CRM systems, project management tools and AI tools.
- Quick to learn new systems, processes and technologies.
- Professional, adaptable and calm when working in a fast-paced environment.
- French or Spanish language skills are preferred, although not essential.
Experience
This position is suitable for graduates or candidates with limited professional experience. Experience in events, marketing, communications, recruitment, sales, customer service or project coordination would be beneficial but is not required.

Location / Work Arrangement
- Based at our London N5 1XL office, with a hybrid model of three days per week in the office.
- Take part in international event travel where required.
