The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated Procurement & Projects Administrator to join our in-house Procurement team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in procurement, project support, or commercial administration. You’ll gain hands-on experience in how procurement and projects operate within a professional consultancy environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting procurement processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and efficiently managed.
This role is primarily office-based in Orpington, with the opportunity for hybrid working after successful completion of probation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and issuing tender and procurement documentation
- Uploading and managing opportunities on e-procurement platforms
- Maintaining accurate records, trackers, and audit logs
- Supporting contract administration and tracking key dates
- Managing supplier databases and compliance information
- Assisting with reporting and project coordination activities
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
About You
We’re looking for someone who is detail-focused, organised, and keen to learn:
- A-levels required; degree preferred (e.g. Business, Law, English, Economics or similar)
- Strong interest in procurement, administration, or project support
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Project Management experience
- Interested in undertaking or currently pursuing CIPS accreditation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and digital systems
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A proactive and positive team player
Desirable:
- Experience working with structured documents or processes
- PRINCE2
- Driving license and access to a car
