The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate, should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, assisting them in their purchasing decisions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your ability to sell effectively and provide exceptional service will contribute significantly to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Provide knowledgeable advice on a range of electrical appliances
- Process sales and handle transactions accurately using POS systems
- Assist with stock management, including restocking shelves and accepting deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organised shop floor
- Support promotional activities and in-store displays
- Resolve customer queries and issues with a helpful attitude
- dealing with customer needs across multiple touch points - in person, online, email and phone.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferable but not essential)
- Interest in electrical goods and willingness to learn product details
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours, including occasional weekends
