Assistant Greenkeeper
Glen Gorse Golf Club are currently searching for an enthusiastic person to join our Greenkeeping team.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in progressing their career in the sports turf industry, working with a team of experienced Greenkeepers. Salary dependant on experience. Ideally the candidate will be level 2 in Sports Turf or at least working towards it.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing playing surfaces for daily play, mowing of surfaces, raking bunkers, hole changing, aeration work, over seeding, golf course construction.
Through this period, you will gain experience of machinery operation and maintenance.
You will be mentored by the Head Greenkeeper and the team.
