Alexanders Pharmacies Ltd are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacist Manager in Wrexham, Wales. We are passionate about patient care and have new consultation rooms to promote Pharmacist led services.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact and lead growth and development of Pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
- Act as Responsible Pharmacist and have operational and professional responsibility for the delivery of all pharmacy and medicines optimisation services within the Pharmacy.
- Provide clinical leadership and expert advice and services to patients·
- Management of all Pharmacy staff including supporting education and training.
- Ensure patient focused pharmacy services are delivered in accordance with the General Pharmaceutical Council Standards and Principles, NHS Pharmacy Regulations, Company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies and all other statutory requirements.
- Provide services as part of the Welsh Community Pharmacy Service Framework including Independent Prescribing services.
- Ensure that relevant investigations/immediate actions are carried out to resolve complaints and incidents and report to the Senior Management team.
- Be responsible for managing and achieving KPI’s set for their team.
- Represents the organisation when required at appropriate local, regional and national meeting and groups.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- MUST be a qualified Pharmacist in the UK
- MUST have GPhC registration
- MUST be Welsh Community Pharmacy accredited
- Independent Prescribing Qualification (or working towards it)
- Experienced Pharmacist with management experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1 hour lunch). No extended or weekend working.

Pay: £27.00-£35.00 per hour
