Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times, ensuring compliance with health standards.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of dishes during service periods.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or menu changes as required.
- Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by adhering to operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
- Experience in meal preparation and working with diverse ingredients.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in professional kitchens.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or operational requirements.
