The Role: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef
We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Sous Chef or experienced Kitchen Assistant to become an essential part of our kitchen. If you have a minimum of 2 years of professional kitchen experience, a positive attitude, and a genuine love for food, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items, ensuring high quality and consistent presentation.
- Assist efficiently with all food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations at all times, cleaning utensils and cookware when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team: to ensure quick and smooth service during busy periods.
- Strictly follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Cuisine Knowledge: Previous experience in an Italian kitchen or a strong working knowledge of Italian/Sicilian ingredients is highly advantageous.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Pace: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Available for morning/afternoon shifts, including weekends.
