BREAKDOWN RECOVERY TRUCK DRIVER
** Class 1 ** Class 2 ** 7.5 ton**
MUST HAVE MINIMUM 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE - WILL BE ASSESSED DURING INDUCTION.
We have Night shift / Day shift / Midday and evening shifts.
ROLE REQUIRMENTS:
- Assisting with members of the public who have broken down roadside.
- Attending within etas and slas
- Good customer service skills
- Cleanliness and ensuring Cab and truck is clean
- No points on your licence
- Adequate mechanical knowledge on cars and vans
- Can do attitude to work
- Punctual
- Working as part of a team
Shift patterns are set on either 4 on 4 or 6 on 3 off. 6 on 2 off or 5 on 3 off.
TIMINGS: 9am-9pm, 10am - 10pm, 11am-11pm and 12 till 12 ; The right candidate will do only 1 of those timings.
We are growing family run business, We operate a fleet of 18 breakdown vehicles, the role has opened up due to ongoing contracts we have took as part of the company growth.
We are currently a team of 25 members of staff and we operate 24 hours 365 days of the year. Not 1 day is the same as the next as we are an emergency breakdown service. The right candidate must be open, honest and transport and have the willingness.
Available for overtime and extra hours.
If you are employed; you will be on the payee scheme and pay is monthly. There is progression in the company and plenty of training can be provided as industry standard; 1,2,3 and as you progress 4,5,6 & 7. As well as Hiab/ Street Lifter training and Towtrack training.
PLEASE NOTE: As we are expanding we are opening multiple depots across the northwest, Location of candidate to travel would be either area depending on nearest depot from home.
