Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a good understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and strong time management skills are highly desirable. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Manage cash register operations and handle payments efficiently
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and uphold safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during busy periods
- Keep up-to-date with new drink recipes, promotions, and current trends in hospitality
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Bartender in a busy restaurant or bar environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and standard health & safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a personable manner suitable for engaging with diverse guests
