We're looking for a full time team member to support dispensing, front-of-house and clinical team at Richard Petrie Optometrists in Derby. The ideal candidate will likely be used to working in an independent or similar practice as the tasks are broad across the business and not isolated to one job responsibility only.

- Can assist with pre-screening, dispensing, styling and optical product advice (training provided)
- Someone who is experienced in Optics and understands terminology, contact lenses and how clinics work

- Brings energy and a willingness to learn in a stylish and evolving practice
- Wants to develop personally and professionally and eager to work 1 to 1 with a coach
- Has spectacle dispensing experience and LOVES frame style selection
- Can learn supplementary services to offer patients who need more specialised tests (training provided)

The Details
- Role: Experienced Dispensing Optical Assistant (ideally at least 5 years experience)
- Location: Derby
- Type: Full Time (Hours to include Tuesday 9-5.30pm, Wednesday 9-5.30pm, Thursday 9-5:30pm and Friday 9-5pm and 3 Saturdays per month 9-2pm)
- Experience: MUST have spectacle dispensing experience in a customer-facing role and be able to support optical practice running and understand the world of Optics having had experience working in this.
