Dealership Assistant (Self-Employed – Flexible Hours)

Hours: 40 hours minimum per week (weekends essential)

This is a flexible, self-employed position. There is regular ongoing work available for the right person.
The Role
Your duties will include:
* Collecting and delivering vehicles
* Taking vehicles to MOT appointments, workshops, mechanics and bodyshops
* Moving vehicles around the forecourt throughout the day
* Preparing vehicles for sale and customer handovers
* Running vehicles to valeting, fuelling and charging vehicles
* Keeping the forecourt clean, tidy and well presented
* Fitting price boards and preparing vehicle displays
* Answering telephone enquiries
* Following up basic customer enquiries and leads
* Assisting customers visiting the dealership
* Running general errands for the business
* Supporting the sales team and helping with the day-to-day running of the dealership
* Carrying out any other tasks required to keep the business running smoothly
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds a full UK driving licence and has held it for a minimum of 3 years
* Is confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles
* Has a good driving record
* Is practical, proactive and able to use their own initiative
* Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Is physically fit and happy moving vehicles throughout the day
* Doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty if necessary
* Is confident dealing with mechanics, bodyshops and MOT stations
* Has good customer service and communication skills
* Is organised, flexible and willing to turn their hand to any task
