Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and highly experienced Registered Manager to lead and oversee a reputable care home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional senior care services. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations, fostering a positive environment for residents and staff, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of care provision. Your leadership will be pivotal in creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing setting where residents, including those with dementia and Alzheimer’s, receive personalized care that promotes dignity and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered in line with Ofsted requirements.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
- Supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership, supervision, and ongoing training.
- Ensure medication administration is carried out accurately and safely in accordance with legal guidelines and best practices.
- Oversee compliance with all regulatory standards related to assisted living, nursing home operations, and home care services.
- Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resource allocation efficiently to maintain optimal service delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and implementing best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Ofsted inspections and ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
- Support residents’ emotional well-being by encouraging social activities and maintaining a warm community atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing or supervising within assisted living or nursing home environments.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations related to adult social care settings.
- Demonstrable experience in nursing or senior care roles with a focus on dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.
- Experience in managing care plans, medication administration, and compliance procedures.
- Familiarity with managing budgets, staffing schedules, and resource planning within a care setting.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to engage residents, families, and staff alike.
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent are highly desirable.

Pay: £60,811.81-£77,638.39 per year
