Job Overview
Naseeb Marine & Logistics Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to coordinate marine engineering and technical projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for a confident project professional who can manage engineering teams, contractors, schedules and resources while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage marine engineering projects from initial scope through completion and handover.
- Coordinate engineers, technicians, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Develop project schedules, monitor progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Manage project budgets, resources, materials and procurement requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.
- Identify project risks, resolve technical or operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable maritime, engineering, health and safety and quality standards.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to clients, management and project teams.
Qualifications
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience managing engineering, marine, offshore, shipbuilding or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning, engineering processes and technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Good knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements within engineering environments.
- Strong leadership, organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Project management qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent are advantageous.
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
