Senior Diagnostics Technician / Master Technician
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Diagnostics Technician / Master Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated automotive professional who thrives on solving complex technical issues and delivering exceptional service.
About the Role
As a Senior Diagnostics / Master Technician, you will play a key role in our workshop, using advanced diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify and resolve complex vehicle faults. You will also support and mentor junior technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles
- Accurately identify and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Use aftermarket diagnostic equipment effectively
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company specifications and safety standards
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Technician / Master Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills (electrical and mechanical)
- Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience with diagnostic tools and vehicle systems
- A full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Manufacturer training or accreditation
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
