As an Events Duty Team Lead, you will ensure the smooth running of events in a beautiful setting where community, conservation, compassion, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
You will lead the events team outside of core operating hours to deliver our bar and catering hospitality services. This is a hands-on role, taking responsibility for supervising and motivating the team while overseeing front-of-house operations, customer safety, building security, and bar service during events.
Events are typically held at weekends, although we also host events during the week. This role primarily supports events taking place during evenings and outside of normal business hours.
You will lead by example to create a warm and welcoming experience for customers and event attendees. This is a busy, customer-facing role that would suit a driven, reliable professional with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in events, hospitality, or customer service.
Working Pattern
Shifts will be agreed in advance based on the seasonal schedule of weddings and events. Typically, you can expect between one and three shifts per week, with additional ad hoc shifts potentially available depending on event bookings.
Shifts vary throughout the week but are predominantly on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Example shifts:
- Friday: Birthday party, 5:00pm–12:30am
- Saturday: Wedding, 6:00pm–1:00am
