Trainee Dental Nurse
No previous experience required. Necessary training will be provided.
At West Port Dental Practice in Linlithgow, we are looking for someone enthusiastic, friendly and reliable to join our team as a dental nurse. We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail and is keen to help develop the practice alongside the rest of the team. We are a family-owned dental practice in Linlithgow and provide modern, patient-focused care. This opportunity would be for 4 or 5 days a week. Recently under new ownership, we are looking for the right person to be part of building on the success of the existing well established practice in the centre of the town and developing it further. Pay from £10-£12.71 to start as a supported apprenticeship/training role, with wages increasing on qualification in line with skills. Responsibilities:
· Welcome and prepare patients, ensuring safe and comfortable experience during their visit.
· Provide chairside support to clinicians during a range of dental procedures.
· Comply with cross-infection control regulations and standards.
· Accurately maintain patient records on computer, supporting clinician.
· Assist with stock control, cleaning and decontamination of instruments.
· Maintenance of equipment where relevant.
· Assist with reception duties as required.
· Such other duties as may be necessary for the efficient operation of the practice.
Requirements:
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
· Computer skills
