ROLE: Multi-skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias
HOURS: 42 Hours ( Shift Pattern 4 Days on, 6 Days off, 4 Nights on, 4 Days off, 3 Days on, 3 Nights on, 4 days off)

We're looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias to work with a key Mitie client to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical and mechanical disciplines, and to provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per site requirements to all operational equipment.
Role Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimise both reliability and maintainability.
You will provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required.
You will need to complete any required paperwork and produce reports accurately and on a timely basis.
You should carry out work to high standards and in line with current company policies and procedures, reporting any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery, or risk to health and safety, or the environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring your own work and the work of those under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.
Required Qualifications: applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
The ideal candidate would have appropriate up-to-date training, such as an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance, multi-discipline.
You will have good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
You will need to be responsible for yourself and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
You will need to be able to read and understand technical drawings.
You will have good problem-solving and decision-making skills and be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
