We are looking for a enthusiastic, hard working, exciting team member to join our kitchen team.
This person must be the following:-
Trustworthy
Hygienic
Clean and tidy
Great as part of a team as well as using their own initiative
Be able to come up with some great ideas to add to our menu as well as be able to cook them from scratch and send out a mighty fine meal.
Be able to do all aspects of the kitchen from prep, griddle, frying, to clean down.
To work along side other staff and sharing the load at busy times.
They will be expected to follow food and hygeine regulations (Food hygeine Level 2 required)
Stock rotation
Keeping daily, weekly records up to date
Ordering stock
But most of all being part of a good team...

Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary techniques
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Assist in serving customers when necessary, providing excellent hospitality
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
- Extensive food production and culinary expertise, including food preparation and cooking techniques
- Strong team management abilities with leadership qualities to motivate staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Previous restaurant experience is essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both within the team and when interacting with customers if needed

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
