Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal to ensure premises are hygienic and presentable
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and products effectively and safely
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
