Accounts & Procurement Assistant Overview
NC Associates is recruiting an exciting opportunity to join a growing business based in Northwich. This is a varied role which includes accounts, procurement and stock management. The position will provide exposure across multiple areas of the business, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience and develop a strong understanding of how different functions work together.
Accounts & Procurement Assistant Responsibilities:

Raising and processing sales and purchase invoices

Supplier statement reconciliations

Bank reconciliations
-
Managing supplier invoices and payments
-
Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
-
Managing CIS-related administration
-
Assisting with VAT returns and general accounts administration

Raising purchase orders and ensuring orders are processed accurately

Managing supplier relationships and resolving any purchasing queries

Monitoring stock levels and ensuring appropriate stock availability

Maintaining accurate stock records and updating the system accordingly

Assisting with regular stock checks and reconciliations

Producing reports relating to procurement, stock and accounts
Accounts & Procurement Assistant Experience Required

Previous experience in accounts, finance, procurement or purchasing

Experience processing invoices and dealing with suppliers

Understanding of stock control and maintaining accurate records

Good Excel and systems skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams

Commercially aware with a proactive approach

Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the business grows
