Duties
- Interpret and work from schematics to assemble and fit components accurately.
- Perform masonry tasks as needed, including constructing and repairing structures.
- Work on roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roof systems.
- Execute welding tasks to join metal parts securely.
- Utilise hand tools proficiently for various fitting tasks.
- Collaborate with carpenters to build frameworks and structures as required.
- Conduct electrical installations or repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Engage in painting tasks to finish fittings and enhance aesthetics.
- Fabricate components as per specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
Experience
Candidates should have previous experience in a fitting role or similar position, demonstrating proficiency in the following areas:
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics.
- Masonry and roofing skills are advantageous.
- Welding experience is essential for joining metal components effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools and their safe operation is required.
- Experience in carpentry, electrical work, and painting will be considered beneficial.
