Job Purpose
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to support our tutors in providing quality education to students, assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and student support. We are looking for TA’s who would feel confident in a range of subjects up to GCSE standard including, but not limited to, English and Maths. We are particularly interested in applicants who have expertise or interests in Art and Crafts.
· Support the academic development in lessons
· Manage behaviour effectively
· Provide pastoral support
· Support students with their SEND needs
· Complete assessment and associated administrative tasks
Other duties
Other duties may include but are not limited to:
· Delivering or supporting tutorials and enrichments
· Completing paperwork for students
· Break duty
· Supporting and/or covering lessons
Qualifications, training and Experience
· Experience working with young people is desirable
· Good standard of Maths and English
