Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service from arrival to departure
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation quality and guest satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations when needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Follow food safety standards and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service for all guests
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order processing accurately
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus but not required
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly under pressure
- Willingness to learn new skills such as food preparation techniques and upselling strategies
