About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Developer to join Everard during an exciting period of technology-led growth and innovation.
You will join our existing team of Software Developers, working across the development, improvement and ongoing maintenance of our internal applications, websites, dashboards and portals. The role will also provide the opportunity to contribute to our growing focus on machine learning, while supporting software and system-related requests across the wider business.
Your day-to-day work will span a variety of exciting in-house digital projects, including:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, improve and maintain internal business applications.
- Build and maintain internal websites, dashboards and portals.
- Work alongside the existing Software Developers on ongoing development projects.
- Support the continued development and improvement of the company’s internal technology.
- Work with machine learning, using datasets to help generate useful outputs and results for the business.
- Assist with software and system support requests from across the business.
- Investigate and resolve issues affecting internal applications and websites.
- Maintain and improve existing systems as the requirements of the business develop.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years’ commercial software development experience.
- Strong PHP development experience.
- Experience with Vue.js.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience.
- Python experience, particularly for machine learning projects.
- Experience developing and maintaining web-based applications.
- Comfortable assisting with technical support requests alongside development work.
- Laravel experience would be beneficial.
- C# experience would be beneficial.
- Machine learning experience would be beneficial.
- Computer Vision experience would be beneficial.
- AWS experience would be beneficial.

Pay & Perks
