Perth & Northumberland Ltd is a growing grounds maintenance, landscaping and property maintenance company operating across Newcastle, Northumberland and the wider North East. We work with commercial property owners, managing agents, housing providers, schools and private clients, delivering a high-quality and reliable service.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a hardworking and dependable General Labourer / Gardener to join our team on a full-time basis.
The Role
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of grounds maintenance, landscaping and general property maintenance tasks, including:
- Grass cutting and strimming
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weed control and site maintenance
- Planting and soft landscaping works
- Litter picking and site clearances
- Fence repairs and installation
- General labouring duties
- Assisting with small building and maintenance projects
- Loading and unloading vehicles and equipment
- Keeping equipment and work areas clean and tidy
Work will be carried out at various commercial and residential sites throughout the North East.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Takes pride in delivering high standards of work
- Can communicate professionally with clients and members of the public
- Has experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, landscaping or general labouring (preferred but not essential)
- Holds a full UK driving licence
