People Support is recruiting Home Care Workers / Care Workers across Carmarthenshire, including:
Ammanford | Llanelli | Carmarthen | Newcastle Emlyn | Llandovery | St Clears
A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Pay
- Weekdays: £13.45 per hour
- Weekends: £13.80 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £21.00 per hour
- 45p per mile when using your own vehicle
- Paid travel time
- Paid from the actual start of your shift to the actual end of your shift
- Unpaid lunch break applies.
Company cars are also available if preferred.
About the Home Care Worker role
As a Home Care Worker, you will provide care and support to people in their own homes across Carmarthenshire.
You will help individuals to remain safe, independent and in control of their daily lives, while providing person-centred support based on their individual needs and choices.
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as we provide a full training programme.
We are looking for people with the passion, empathy and dedication to make a positive difference to the people we support.
Care Worker responsibilities
Depending on the needs of the individual, your role may include:
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Meal preparation
- Light domestic tasks
- Companionship and social support
- Supporting people to remain independent
- Moving and handling tasks using appropriate equipment such as hoists or stand aids, where trained
- End-of-life care
- Supporting individuals to access their local community
- Recording care and support provided

You do not need to have worked in care before. We are particularly interested in applicants who are:

You must hold a full UK driving licence.
