Support Worker
Full or Part time support staff required to support our client with a spinal cord injury in his own home.
You will be required to help with any daily tasks, personal hygiene, catheter care and medication.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team to support our client with his day-to-day living.
Person Specification:
Although previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, we would like to encourage the people with the right values and passion to apply as we offer nurse led training. However, a relevant qualification or transferable workplace and life skills would be desirable
Essential Skills:
- Positive attitude
- Full driving licence (drivers also need to be over 25 for insurance purposes)
- Experience of Spinal cord Injury or physical disability
- Flexible
- Good communicator
- Reliable
Hours:
- Part Time: 24 hours / 2 shifts per week
- Full Time: 36 hours / 3 shifts per week
Shift Patterns:
- Days: 08:00–20:00 or 10:00-22:00
- Night Shifts: 20:00–08:00
Pay Rates:
- £17.50 per hour for day shifts
- £18.50 per hour for night shifts
Additional pay for weekend shifts
