In this role you will
· Read and follow care plans to ensure person-centred care is being provided.
· Assist residents with personal care whilst promoting independence, including washing/bathing/showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
· Support residents with mobility, using appropriate equipment and safe moving and handling techniques.
· Assist residents with continence management.
· Ensure residents skin is checked regularly, and any changes are recorded and reported.
· Assist with food and drink, including preparing light meals and supporting residents during mealtimes.
· Help residents with daily activities, social engagement, and maintaining independence wherever possible.
· Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
· Ensure bedrooms are kept to a high standard, including bed making and general cleanliness.
· Ensure communal areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
· To undertake any other duties required to care for residents.
Development and progression
· Full induction and ongoing support within the role

· Potential to progress within the home for the right candidate
· Support with qualifications (QCF Level2/3)
A DBS check is essential for this role.
