About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated SMART Repair Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and continued development of our SMART Repair business across the Kent region.
The Kent region represents a substantial opportunity for growth, particularly across retail, trade and mobile SMART Repair services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the operation, improve processes and help shape how SMART Repair is delivered across the region.
This is a hands-on management position requiring someone who understands the SMART Repair industry, can lead a team effectively and has the commercial awareness to improve productivity, quality and profitability.
You will be responsible for ensuring the department operates efficiently, delivers consistently high repair standards and provides an excellent service to both internal and retail customers.
About you:
- Previous experience within the SMART Repair, automotive repair or bodyshop industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of cosmetic vehicle repairs, including paint, dents, alloy wheel and associated repair techniques.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of departmental profitability and confidence to make decisions regarding repairability and outsourcing.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills alongside the ability to build strong relationships with technicians, management and other departments.
- You will have a full UK Driving licence.
