Job summary
Due to re-organisation we are looking for a part time/job share or full time – Care Co-Ordinator (GP ADMINISTRATOR) – up to 36 hours a week.
Dual role for administration within the Patient Support Team and team rota cover when required to cover Reception.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent organisational skills to join our busy Administration and Reception team, you will work between both admin and reception departments. However when covering reception team this will be undertaken on a rota basis within the Patient Support Team.
You will ideally have experience of working with the public and in a busy environment. . Previous NHS administrative experience, including the use of medical terminology essential. Training will be provided.
Applicants should have excellent communication, IT skills and organisational skills.
The role will provide strong reception/administrative support therefore candidates must be able to work as part of a team and independently and be able to demonstrate the following:

- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining composure
- willingness to undertake ongoing training to understand medical terminology.
- Ability to work flexibly between the hours of 8am until 6pm
Hours of work may include 8.00 am start, 6.30 pm finish and possibly some evening/weekend cover.
Salary dependant upon experience.
