Kitchen Assistant/Pot wash required for busy kitchen:
We are a busy family run pub & restaurant with rooms close to Norwich in Honingham just off the A47 easily accessible form Norwich or Dereham.
You will be part of a hard-working and fun kitchen team
We have between 15-30 hours a week available. With both full and part time positions available. You will be able to work days, evenings and weekends. The shift times are shown below
Monday- Saturday shifts:
Daytime 11.00am- 2:30pm Evening 5.30pm- 9:30pm
Sunday Shifts:
10.00-4.00pm & 4.00pm -9.00pm
Job description
General washing up of all cutlery, crockery and kitchen equipment. Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible. Collect and wash up pots and pans. Keep the storeroom organised. Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised at the end of shift.
We will be looking for the following:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Please note:
Your own transport will be necessary as there are no public transport links to the village. A car, motorbike or a very nice person who will give you a lift is a prerequisite.
