Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our professional team. This role involves providing exceptional administrative support, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various office software.
Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answering and directing phone calls accurately
- Managing appointment scheduling and calendar organisation
- Handling incoming correspondence via email, mail, and phone
- Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and legal software
- Maintaining organised records and filing systems
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and organising documents
- Supporting team members with various clerical duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous legal office experience or reception experience is preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence to learn other software
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent typing accuracy for messages
- Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but we will consider a job-share
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
