JOB OVERVIEW
We're recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our client, a busy, well-established garage in Nottingham. This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position covering all aspects of servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault finding. We're open to candidates from all backgrounds — whether you're fully qualified or experienced through hands-on work, if you're confident on the tools and keen to grow, we want to hear from you.
SALARY
£33,000–£42,000 per annum (PAYE, depending on experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance across a range of vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Work independently and manage a varied workload day to day
- Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards (if licence held)
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
- Uphold workshop health and safety standards at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (desirable, not essential)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT Tester licence (desirable, not essential)
