The School of Dental Nursing, based in West London, requires a part-time dental nurse tutor for our online learners who are following the Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by the NEBDN. Experience is preferred, with a minimum background as an experienced dental nurse. This role may suit someone who would like to combine dental nursing with teaching. Our students are enthusiastic and determined; we seek similar characteristics in a tutor.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Diploma in Dental Nursing online programme.
- Mark learner's written Porfolios
- Monitor the students’ progress by regularly assessing their performance in line with individual learning plans to achieve excellent pass rate
- Liaise with external examiners and maintain quality assurance.
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Principal/CEO.
Essential:
- Valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- IT and virtual learning environment literacy.
- Relevant dental qualification.
- Confidence in representing the program internally, externally, and on College committees.
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and excellent communication skills.
- Flexible attitude towards School requirements and responsibilities.
