Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Scaffolder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work at heights while maintaining precision and efficiency. Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety during use.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, and masons to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and secure scaffolding parts.
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain organisation of tools and materials on-site for efficiency and safety.
- Assist in the transportation of scaffolding materials to different locations on-site as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in scaffolding installation is essential
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffold assembly is essential.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to working at heights and construction sites.
- Ability to read technical drawings or plans is beneficial but not mandatory.
