About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team at a specialist mental health care home. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of our residents throughout the night.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will provide person-centred care to individuals with a range of mental health needs, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular welfare checks on residents throughout the night
- Provide emotional support and reassurance when required
- Respond appropriately to incidents, distress, or crisis situations
- Supporting service users with personal care, and cleaning.
- Support residents with medication (if trained)
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care and observations
- Ensure a safe, calm, and secure environment
- Complete light housekeeping duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care or mental health setting (preferred but not essential)
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good communication and observation skills
- Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Shift Patterns:
We're looking for full and part-time staff (24-36hours per week). Night Shift: 8pm-8am
Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
· Right to work in the UK on a full-time/part-time basis without the need for sponsorship
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.75-£12.90 per hour
