Overview
Join our dynamic security team as a Static Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure a safe and secure environment through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to incidents. As a Static Security Guard, you will be the first line of defense, maintaining constant vigilance and professionalism to protect our premises around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee all activity within the premises and detect any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety, integrity of access points, and adherence to security protocols.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Implement loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and responding appropriately.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting and review purposes.
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently while maintaining a professional presence on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to perform basic first aid procedures confidently in emergency situations.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify potential security threats or safety hazards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report incidents and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining focus on surveillance duties.
- Valid certification in security or relevant training as required by local regulations is a plus.
