The Opportunity
As Area Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for developing long-term partnerships with customers across your territory, ensuring exceptional service, identifying growth opportunities and achieving agreed sales objectives.
You’ll take ownership of:
- Developing and growing a portfolio of key customers while identifying new business opportunities across your territory.
- Building strong, long-term customer relationships, becoming a trusted partner and advisor.
- Delivering sales growth through effective account planning, forecasting and commercial decision-making.
- Using customer and market insights to identify opportunities, manage pricing and stay ahead of competitor activity.
- Presenting compelling solutions tailored to customer needs and business objectives.
- Resolving customer challenges quickly and professionally, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Working closely with colleagues across sales, marketing and the wider business to deliver successful campaigns and support continued growth.
About You
We're looking for a confident, commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to drive growth. You'll have a proven track record in account management, territory sales or field-based sales, with the ability to consistently deliver against targets in a competitive environment.
You combine strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills with excellent commercial awareness and analytical thinking. Organised and self-motivated, you're comfortable managing your own territory, prioritising competing demands and using sales data, forecasting and market insights to inform your decisions.
Most importantly, you'll be resilient, proactive and customer-focused, with the ability to build credibility at all levels and turn opportunities into long-term business success.
You'll also have:
- Experience in account, territory or field sales management
- A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong planning, forecasting and pipeline management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- A full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the tap and shower market
- Technical product knowledge within a related industry
Working Arrangements
This is a territory-based role with regular customer visits across your assigned region, so our ideal candidate will be located in the North West area. Overnight travel and home-based working will form part of the role.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
