As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll help deliver safe, effective and person-centred pharmacy services while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a fulfilling career in community pharmacy. What You'll Do:
- Provide a warm, welcoming, and professional service.
- Support the dispensing and supply of medicines under supervision.
- Listen to patients' needs and help connect them with the most appropriate pharmacy or healthcare service.
- Help maintain accurate records, manage stock, and keep the pharmacy running smoothly.
- Promote health and wellbeing by supporting pharmacy services and patient engagement activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Complete training and continuously develop your pharmacy knowledge and skills.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to support the safe and legal sale or dispensing of medication and prescriptions
- Keeping up to date with new innovations in store and comply with operational processes.
- Support patients to manage their prescriptions their way with reliable repeats and manage their medicines effectively to promote adherence and reduce waste.

- Pharmacy or retail experience is useful but it's not strictly necessary as extensive training will be provided.
- This is a permanent role based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, UK, and we request that you only apply for the position if you can commit to the advertised hours on a permanent basis.

- We are seeking candidates who will be flexible to work a variety of shift patterns throughout the week. This role includes some evening shifts and weekend shifts.
