Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and educational activities within a nursery setting, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of children. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational activities that support children's developmental needs.
- Provide attentive care, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your supervision.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes emotional security, independence, and social skills.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines in line with nursery policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding children's development and any concerns.
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, organisation, and professionalism within the nursery.
- Support team members through management and leadership responsibilities when required.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and statutory requirements.
- Assist with organising activities, outings, and special events that enrich the children's learning experience.
Qualifications
- Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education.
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or similar setting.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities coupled with excellent communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of current childcare legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices in early years education.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the nursery environment.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for facilitating outings or travel between sites.

Pay: £30,000.00-£37,417.98 per year
