We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener to maintain and enhance the beauty of our lovely Cotswold garden
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a love for outdoor aesthetics. This role offers an opportunity to work in a beautiful Cotswold garden that was designed by a top garden design company. The garden has been designed with nature in mind with a huge collection of herbaceous plants. The garden is also run organically
Duties
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to carry out planting, pruning, weeding, and general garden maintenance
- Maintain pathways, borders, and lawns
- Conduct seasonal pruning and fertilising to promote healthy plant growth
- Monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases for appropriate treatment
- Support landscape projects by preparing soil beds and installing new features as required
- Keep the garden tidy by removing debris and ensuring all equipment is stored safely
Experience
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is essential
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as secateurs, spades, and rakes
- Experience operating power tools including hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, and leaf blowers is desirable
- RHS Level 2 or similar desirable
- Good plant knowledge
- A genuine passion for gardening coupled with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in an outdoor environment
- Previous experience working in scenic or historic gardens is a plus

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
