Early Years Apprentice – Early Years Setting
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and would like to gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification in Early Years.
The role
As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced practitioners in the setting, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop.
You will gain practical experience across all areas of early years practice, while developing your knowledge and skills through your apprenticeship programme.
You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by a dedicated tutor, with your learning delivered through either Grimsby Institute or Best Practice Network.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting children with their learning, development and play.
* Helping to create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
* Supporting daily routines such as mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
* Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
* Observing and supporting children’s development.
* Taking part in activities and experiences that promote children’s learning.
* Following safeguarding, health and safety and other setting policies.
* Completing your apprenticeship learning and working towards your Early Years qualification.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has a genuine interest in working with young children.
* Is caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic.
* Is willing to learn and develop their skills.
* Can work well as part of a team.
* Has good communication skills.
* Is committed to completing their apprenticeship and qualification.
* Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
